Tortola Pier Park Ltd. (TPPL) is requesting proposals for the provision of taxi, transportation and dispatching service at the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park (CBRTPP).
TPPL invites tenders from suitably qualified Companies as part of ongoing efforts to enhance security measures and improve visitor experience.
The Semi-Closed system has been identified as the system of choice for implementation. It is an operational procedure whereby the number of taxi/tour operators is not limited.
The following must also be furnished within the Proposal. Proposers should describe in detail, and provide evidence supporting the qualifications requested below. All Proposers are to compile their Proposals in the order listed, as follows:

- A company/individual profile that provides a brief description of the Proposer, including particulars of each member of any joint venture or consortium;

- An original or certified copies of the following:
- Valid Trade license;
- Certificate of incorporation and Memorandum & Articles of Association of company;
- Certificate of Incumbency or Registers of Directors and Shareholders;
- Certificates of Good Standing (Registry of Corporate Affairs, Social Security, National Health Insurance and Inland Revenue); and
- List of authorized signatories (if applicable);
- Recent Bank Reference Letter for the Entity;
- Utility Bill, Lease (Proof of Address) for the Company;
- Proof of Full Corporate Liability Insurance which will protect the assets of the company and its counterparts/drivers/employees. TPPL and BVIPA will be required to be added to the Insurance once successful.

- List a minimum of 75 drivers with the following documents:
- Copy of valid driver’s and taxi license/permit
- Proof of Vehicle Ownership
- Proof of Vehicle Insurance
- Executed Taxi Professional Memorandum of Understanding between Driver and Transportation – See Annexure B.
- Vehicle inspection certification or report from the Taxi and Livery Commission which must confirm proof of fire extinguishers on board each vehicle as well as cleaning and sanitization products.
Note: list of drivers will be eligible to operate only as part of the Company when a ship is at Berth.

About Tortola Pier Park
The Tortola Pier Park is a major development in the British Virgin Islands, which consists of an enhanced cruise pier and a five-acre landside shopping facility. The newly enhanced cruise facility includes a 60ft wide, 1,312ft long pier that can berth ships up to a maximum tonnage of 180,000 GRT. The landside shopping center consist of over 60 stores, including retail, service providers, commercial spaces and office space.
